History

As walking- and nature lovers we had been coming to Spain since 1992. On our first holiday in Spain we walked parts of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. After this first spectacular acquaintance we travelled almost annually to another Spanish province, our walks were always the highlights in our holidays.

Walking is the way for us to get to know an area and to get into contact with the local population.
Each year there were new surprises and experiences which made us came back to this beautiful country with its fabulous nature, breathing space and tranquillity. We have pledged our heart to the Spanish interior.

 

Migration and own company

In the beginning of 2004 we made the step, we moved from Holland to a small municipality on the northern plateau.

We speak Spanish and we are totally integrated.

The first years we spent on the exploration of the province Soria. We were often in the fields with a map and compass; we explored, strolled around in villages and talked with the local population. Always in search of information about daytrip possibilities and peculiar characteristics in the field of nature and culture.

 

The result: in 2006 we opened our walking company ‘Del Corazón’. Do you want to walk in the heart of Spain? We take you along to special places and show you the local curiosities. We look forward to meeting you!

 

Why walk with a guide?

With us as a guide you can enjoy a carefree walk.
This increases the holiday enjoyment.

We are a mix of a local guide and a tour guide; we know the way, we speak the language and we know about the current situation on our locations. As Soria specialists we can tell you lots of its nature and culture. We take you along to special places and show you the local curiosities. With us you see more!

 

Extra service of Del Corazón

We are a small and flexible company. If desired we also offer daytrips for party of tourists, please don’t hesitate to ask for the possibilities. We will send you an offer without obligation.

 

If you want to make one or more daytrips with us and you don’t speak the Spanish language, we can offer you, for a small fee, a reservation service for a casa rural (rural pension) or hotel.
